The 62nd annual Arkansas School Bus Mechanics Workshop is scheduled for June 11-14, 2012, at the Simon Intermediate School, Conway, Arkansas. The focus of the conference will be "Transporting Our Future".

A pre-registration packet is attached to this memo. The Transportation Director of each school district should provide a copy for the district's mechanics who wish to attend. Included in the attachments are a registration form, class schedule, a description of the courses to be offered at the workshop, and a list of the hotels in the Conway area.

Pre-registration is required to ensure confirmed attendance and must be received by May 27, 2012, along with the $150 registration fee (check or warrant) made payable to the Arkansas School Bus Mechanics Association (ASBMA), Paul Maddox, Treasurer.

Early check-in for the workshop will be at the main entrance of Simon Intermediate School Cafeteria between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2012. Check-in will also take place on Monday, June 11, 2012, between 6:00 and 8:00 a.m. Please arrive early enough to register prior to 8:00 a.m. as the opening session will begin at 8:15 a.m.

All meals will be free of charge to registered participants, beginning with breakfast on Monday morning.

All attendees will be responsible for making motel/hotel arrangements. When making reservations, mention an affiliation with the Arkansas School Bus Mechanics Association or "ASBMA".
