The Arkansas Department of Education and Educational Testing Service (ETS) are assembling a panel of teachers from across the state to participate in a standard setting study for a new driver’s education Praxis™ II test. The purpose of the study is to review the test and recommend a passing score for teacher licensure decisions.
The standard setting study is scheduled for Wednesday, May 23, 2012, in Little Rock. ETS will facilitate the study on the state’s behalf and will reimburse travel expenses and pay lodging for one night. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. This late notice is the result of some cancellations and is a request for replacement panelists.
Administrators are asked to share this information with appropriate teachers. Any teacher interested in participating as a panelist for the study should email Mr. Michael Rowland at michael.rowland@arkansas.gov for details and further information.
