Pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. § 6-14-115, the county clerk of the county in which a school district is administered shall submit a certified copy of the certification of election and a copy of the ballot from the September 18, 2012, election to the Commissioner of Education no later than October 3, 2012.
Districts that held a special election for millage rates in 2012, pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. § 6-14-102, separate from the annual school election for positions on the local school board, shall submit to the address below a certified copy of the certification of election and copy of the ballot from each election.
Even if the millage election does not propose a change to the total millage or millage structure, a certified copy of the certification of election and copy of the ballot shall be submitted to the address below.
In the case of a runoff election for positions on the local school board pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. § 6-14-121, contact Yvonne Williams at (501) 682-4485 to apprise her of the runoff election and to determine the deadline for submitting the required election documents.
Pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. § 6-14-122, the boards of directors of consolidated or annexed school districts may, by resolution duly adopted and with the approval of the Commissioner of Education, set a date for the annual school election in that year for the school districts involved on a date other than the date set in Ark. Code Ann. § 6-14-102 for all school districts, provided only one annual school election may be held in any school district in one calendar year.

Per Arkansas Code Annotated §26-26-401, et.seq., rollback calculations are to be performed before the Quorum Court levies the millage rates. Over the past years, the Assessment Coordination Department (ACD) has performed this task if requested by the county. HOWEVER, from this point forward, the counties (county clerks) will be responsible for completing this task.
